Xuggler

Xuggler is a software project developed and maintained by a company called Xuggle.

Xuggler is effectively a wrapper for FFMPEG, which is an extremely powerful library for converting video and audio between various different formats. Xuggler allows for these format conversion powers to be harnessed from within Java code.

The Xuggler team also provide a Red5 integration library to facilitate the conversion of video/audio to and from a format that Red5 uses, eg. RTMP packets.
